Bianca’s Intimate, Flowery Wedding Day
How did your partner propose?
He was planning to propose on the London eye on Christmas Eve but all the trains were delayed so he took me to Brighton and proposed at my favourite restaurant.
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
Love your body and enjoy wearing your dress.
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
I had an idea of what I wanted and Millie at Fross helped me create it by altering a similar dress.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
3 before the one I chose three after and I tried mine on again and knew it was the one.
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
The bodice and the softness of the skirt
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
Just a hair piece
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.
Very soft pink and green was the colour theme with romantic flowers – very intimate setting.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
The car ride with my husband from the church to the venue.
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Make sure everything is planned and done a month before the wedding. What ever hasn’t happened two days before the wedding isn’t happening.
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
Over Easter. My parents came to visit from South Africa and I really wanted to spend time with them
Would you mind sharing details of any other suppliers you used?
