How did your partner propose?

We went to Lanzarote for the 3rd time as we absolutely love it there. We went on a walk before dinner and Sam proposed by the beach. I was so shocked and wasn’t expecting it at all!

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

Take some time out on the day with your partner, the day goes so quickly so make sure you have that time to enjoy together.

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

We went to various wedding shows, I wasn’t particularly looking for a dress at them but as soon as I saw one, I knew it was THE ONE!

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Only 3, I knew it was the final one as soon as I put it on.

Nicole Milano

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

It has beautiful layers of different tulle, the details are incredible and the train is amazing!

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

I chose not to wear a veil but I had a flower crown instead, I feel like it completed the look I was going for.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

We decided to go with a very neutral theme with gold details, we had a lot of champagne and green running throughout which was perfect with the outdoor setting.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

Walking down the aisle and seeing Sam and everyone so happy!

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Trust the process when it comes to your wedding dress, I had to have the sizing altered and also added cuffed sleeves. It can be a long process but is so worth it.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We were originally meant to go to Bali straight after our wedding but unfortunately that couldn’t happen in 2021 so we managed to go back to Lanzarote which was perfect as we have so many amazing memories there.
