How did your partner propose? 

On the Emirates cable car in London – I should have guessed something was different as he is scared of heights!

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding? 

Take 5 minutes on the day to be together. Without photos, without family. Just you both. 

How did you go about finding your wedding dress? 

I was open minded to anything.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Around 20!

Do you know the name of your dress designer?  

Nicole Milano – I think it’s called Milan 

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose? 

The overskirt 

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories? 

No veil just a hair piece.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc. 

Brooklands hotel. We adored the set up of the events area.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself? 

Walking down the aisle crying as our friend sang Endless Love.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides? 

Do what YOU want to do. Do not listen when people tell you “but it’s not traditional.” Do what you need to enjoy your day.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
