How did your partner propose?

We went on a trip to Bath for my 21st birthday and our 5 year anniversary and he proposed at the Royal Crescent.

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

To take some time out just the two of us on the day as it can be quite overwhelming and you don’t get to see each other much!

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

My sister brought her wedding dress from Fross so I knew I wanted to go there.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Only around 5.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

The detail is absolutely beautiful, and it was different to any dress I had seen before.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Yes, a veil and headpiece.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

We had the most amazing day! The weather was just perfect, and we managed to get married outside in October! Amazing! We also had fireworks in the evening which were really special.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

Our first dance – we spent weeks learning a dance that was choreographed for us and on the day, it went so well.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Try not to stress too much before the day! The day before I was crying because my grooms and my father’s suits were wrong, but they got it sorted! Try not to let it overwhelm you, it really is just one day, and no one will notice if something doesn’t go quite right!

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We went on honeymoon to Barbados 2 days after our wedding.
