Angel’s Perfect Wedding Day
How did your partner propose? In a festive Igloo with Wham Last Christmas playing, on my birthday 23rd December
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding? You make the energy of your wedding, if you exude happiness your guests will feel this
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
I already had a wedding dress and regretted my decision; I made the purchase too early on and didn’t love it. I decided to go to Fross as I loved your dresses and vibe. I went with my mum to one of your sample sales and tried on 7 dresses, I had an idea of what I wanted but was still open minded.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
I tried on 7 dresses as Fross, the first dress I tried on wasn’t one I had picked out from your website but I loved it on the rack, I put it on and felt incredible and it ended up being the one! I tried on all the others and they just didn’t feel quite the same as the first, it gave me that special feeling I was hoping for.
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Tiffany’s Bridal
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
The sparkle of the dress first drew my attention, the beautiful tulle and floral lace detailing paired with the long train, I loved how romantic it was.
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories? Yes I wore a long sparkly veil and a fur bolero which were both purchased from Fross!
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you?
Our wedding day was romantic and festive, a winter vibe. Deep burgundy, forest green and blush tones, with gold accents. We scented our wedding with Winter White Company which elevated our theme. Lots of seasonal foliage which adorned our asymmetric arch, meadows, bouquets and button holes.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
The whole day was incredible, it is so hard to pick a favourite moment but I have to say walking down the aisle is a moment I will never forget – all the people you love in one room watching you, rooting for you as you marry the love of your life, it was the most surreal feeling.
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides? Yes! Take your time with planning and make sure you pick the right suppliers, they are the ones who bring your dream day to life. Try not to stress about what you look like, I found it really hard as I was self conscious but I wished I hadn’t spent so much time worrying, you will look and feel beautiful. Lastly, some advice that was given to me which was sooo spot on was you create the energy for your wedding, guests feed off the bride and groom, if you are happy your guests will be too!
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans? We have just come back from our magical honeymoon in Lapland.
