Becca’s Perfect Wedding In Tiffany

How did your partner propose?

So we went on holiday just before our 11th year anniversary. He decided to book a photoshoot for the day before our anniversary as he said we’re busy on that day. He told the photographer he was going to propose so can he say where and when is the best time. We went to a beautiful beach where it was just us two. Towards the end of the shoot, he got down on he’s knee and it was just so perfect!

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run-up to your wedding?

Stop. Take a moment and take it all in. The day goes so fast and you want to really be in the moment but taking a second just to look around it’s just so surreal.

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

Searched Pinterest and found local dress shops. I then went on the websites and looked through the dresses and worked out what I thought I liked.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one?

About 10 I would say. When we worked out what suited me it was the 2nd dress.

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

Tiffany bridal.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

It just was so me. It wasn’t to much going on but the back of the dress was gorgeous and I really loved a long train.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Yes I had a veil and I also bought a floral headband from vivi embellished.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

Chilled vibes. It was in the Dominican Republic so we was having cocktails on the beach in the morning with the bridal party. So much fun getting ready and everything and everyone had so much fun! It was honestly just the best only having 30 guests it was with all the people we truly care about!

What was your favorite moment from the day itself?

When I met my husband to be at the end of the isle.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Stop stressing about all the little details make sure your organised with your appointments and maybe book a few days off prior to your wedding. Oh and actually eat!

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (about your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

Yes. Absolutely even though we’ve had our wedding abroad we was with our guests for the full 2 weeks. So we want to go and travel around Thailand. Visit the elephants, go to temples. Eat street food and relax at the end in Phuket.

Would you mind sharing details of any other suppliers you used? Ideally, by their Instagram handle but if not, just a business name will do!
