How did your partner propose?

In a ski town called Zermatt in Switzerland. Our friends were on the trip with us and he got down on one knee in our apartment which overlooked the Toblerone mountain, it was beautiful!

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

Try not to let stress get the better of you, everything will work out in the end!

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I had a look online first at the selections of local boutiques and then visited two in person to choose the one.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Around 8/9 across 2 boutiques.

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

I think Justin Alexander.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

I loved the beaded look and thought it was elegant.

 

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Yes I wore a veil!

 

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

I was inspired by a classic, romantic and classy style. I went with a white and gold theme and filled the venue with white roses. We had a selfie booth which was black and white in keeping with the style (inspired by the Kardashians). Our favourite part was the band who were there all day to entertain and kept the dance floor packed all evening!

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

The dance floor in the evening, it was a vibe!

 

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Consider silk flower centrepieces, you could save a fortune and they can look equally as beautiful.

 

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We had 10 nights in the Bahamas 2 days after the wedding.
