How did your partner propose?
Not romantic at all! He was lying in the bed when I got home from work, He held out the ring box and said ‘so do you wanna?’.
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
It’s your wedding! Don’t try and please everyone else.
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
I found a dress I really liked online and saw they had it in Fross so booked an appointment. That dress did not suit me but I did still find my dream dress there.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
I am not sure, I only went to Fross and probably tried on about 15 dresses
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Aire Barcelona (I think)
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
I don’t even know. I just put it on and I just knew that had to be my dress!
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
I wore a hair vine but I did not want a veil as I wanted everyone to see all the detail of the dress.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
We got married on a beach in Cyprus and it was amazing! My dream was to get married on a beach and unfortunately, the weather is not guaranteed in England. We are also big holiday people so it was only right that we married abroad.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
I honestly don’t have a favourite part, the whole day from start to finish was absolutely amazing!
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Enjoy every moment, the day goes so quickly and try to take some time for just you and your husband
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
Sometime later, we have booked 5 nights in Sri Lanka followed by 5 nights in the Maldives and will be going in November
