How did your partner propose?
He proposed down on one knee at my favorite place Hampton Court Palace on our anniversary.
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
Take some time on your wedding day to go off with your husband and just have a moment by yourselves, even if its just 5 minutes.
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
I googled various shops to find out which ones had wide range of dresses. Then booked a VIP appointment at Fross wedding collections with my 6 bridesmaids.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
ALOT haha i can’t remember how many but most of the dresses in the shop i tried on
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Justin Alexander
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
It wasn’t the style of dress i had in mind at all, but the second i tried it on it was me. It is such a beautiful classic dress and i feel like crying every time I me i look at it.
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
Yes a two tier veil which was also from fross it had satin around the edges to match my dress too. And a tiara which was a copy of one of princess Diana’s
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.
I looked on Pinterest alot and just found pictures i loved and when from there. I went for a very modern but simple vibe i had lots of real flowers all my tables had tall gold stands with real flowers on. I had lots of cancels aswell and my colours were sage and cream/white
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
Hard question as there was so many but probably the moment when we got married, we felt so happy we had finally done it and i was so nervous before hand So walking back up the isle knowing we were married and seeing all our family and friends smiling back at us was a lovely feeling.
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Just enjoy your day as it goes so quick its really over in a flash so just take every moment in and embrace it.
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
We went away for 3 nights to a beautiful cabin overlooking a lake in norfolk straight after our wedding it was so peaceful and rekaxing. We are going to do a proper honeymoon in a couple of years we want to go to Hawaii and LA for 10 nights so we are saving towards it now.
