How did your partner propose?

We both proposed! 

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

Take time for the two of you, away from everyone else 

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I had no idea what I wanted so I was just like “give me one of everything!” 

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

It was the first one! (I tried on 7 more but none compared)

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

I wanted to wear my mums veil as she passed away before I got married. Her veil was pink and the dress I chose ended up being pink too! 

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

We got married at Lewes register office because of the gardens and my flowery dress floored like it was made for the venue! 

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

The ceremony and our vows.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Passing on the best advice I got: take a moment for yourself

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We went to Mauritius 2 days after
