Kelly’s Beautiful Beach Wedding

We have to admit we were very jealous when we saw Kelly’s photos from her beach wedding in Antigua! And of course that beautiful sparkling bridal gown by Justin Alexander, which was the perfect choice for a chilled ceremony. We caught up with Kelly to find out how it went.

How did your partner propose?

James proposed to me on my 27th birthday. He surprised me with a night’s stay at the Royal Horseguards in London and took me for a romantic walk before dinner, then got down on one knee on Westminster Bridge.

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

Enjoy every moment!

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I had no idea what style of dress would suit me, so just needed to try some on! Little did I know it would be from the first shop we went to – Fross Wedding Collections.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Around 4-5 dresses.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

I went for the stunning Mischa by Justin Alexander. My dress made me feel emotional – as soon as I saw it I knew it was my perfect dress!

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

I wore a veil and hair piece.

Tell us about your wedding day.

We got married on a beautiful beach in Antigua. We were lucky to have most of our family and friends with us and it was a very chilled ceremony.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Do what you and your partner want – don’t try to please others!
