How did your partner propose?

At the “fairy tree”, a tree near Lancing Manor that my son had once wished for his mummy to find a new Prince. He placed pictures of us and roses on trees leading up to the tree and then bent the knee!

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to the big day?

Take time out the two of you to just take it all in – just five minutes here and there. The day goes so quickly and we did this a lot throughout the day. Also, to stay together or you won’t see each other most of the time as you’ll be too busy speaking to guests!

How did you go about finding the perfect wedding dress?

I went to 4 different wedding shops before Fross Wedding Collections. Would love to say a huge thank you to Fross for making us always feel so welcome! Also Helen was amazing at all alterations with my dress. Your shop is beautiful and I wish I could rewind to the first day I came in and do it all again! Wedding blues ahhhh!

How many dresses did you try on before finding The One?

I tried on 22 dresses in total before I found the one – the gorgeous Mia dress by Stella York!

What made you fall in love with the dress you chose?

It was comfortable and had all details on I wanted.

What bridal accessories did you choose?

A veil and headpiece.

Tell us about your wedding day.

It was truly amazing! The best day of our lives!

What was your favourite moment from your big day?

Seeing all our friends and family come together to celebrate us. Also seeing my son beaming from to ear to ear.

What theme did you pick for the wedding?

Elegance and all white.

What advice would you give to other brides-to-be?

It will all work out just how you imagine in the end!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We haven’t had one yet! But we plan to next year.
