Lolly’s Perfect Wedding Day

How did your partner propose?

We climbed to the top of Mount Batur in Bali in the early hours of the morning. At the top as the sun was rising my (now) husband proposed.

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I flew to UK and visited 3 shops in one weekend. Fross was the last shop I tried and that’s where I found my beautiful dress.

 

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

I tried on about 10-15 dresses. All of different shapes.

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

Modeca

 

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

It was completely unique to all the others I’d tried. Gave me the feeling of both having a fitted dress but with the comfort of a skirt.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

I wore a veil and hair vine.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

Our wedding was at a villa in spain. The whole day was held outside with the beautiful Spanish countryside for views. It was a relaxed vibe with the party being the main focus.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

My favourite moment was the speeches and realising what wonderful people I have in my life. Second was spending all night on the dance floor.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

My advice is to do a run through the day before or on the day. It will help the day go smoother and eliminate any last minute stress.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We got married in July 2022 however will be going on our honeymoon to Africa in September. We will be visiting lots of safari camps and then will spend 1 week on a remote island.
