What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
Throughout the day, take a minute to yourself to take it all in and enjoy watching your guests.
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
I knew I wanted a Madi lane dress so found that fross stocked them.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
Around 8-10.
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Madi lane.
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
The colour, all of the details and the open back.
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
Yes I wore a Madi lane Vail.
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.
Our wedding was a tipi wedding in a farm. It was a bit rustic, boho, and just fun for everyone. We wanted something different to the average wedding and the tipi’s definitely made that happen.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
It’s had to say as the whole day was perfect! But the ceremony when my husband saw all of the bridesmaids and then when he saw me. I will never forget the look on his face.
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Enjoy your day as much as possible, obviously make an effort to speak to your guests but don’t try to go out of your way to speak to everyone. They will come to you. You must just enjoy and dance the night away.
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
Yes, our honeymoon is booked for 6 weeks after the wedding. We are going to split in Croatia, a private apartment with a pool and BBQ.
