Pippa’s Perfect Wedding Day
How did your partner propose?
He proposed on a cruise whilst on the balcony of our room just as we docked in France
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
It’ll all work out on the day!
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
We booked the VIP experience which I highly recommend if you are a bit nervous! I
enjoyed being guided by my stylist who had knowledge of the whole store so I could
enjoy the experience with my friends and family.
How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
I tried on I believe around 7 dresses, and it was the 8th dress that was the one! My
stylist prompted me to try it on and I am so glad she did!
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Justin Alexander
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
I felt super bridal and like a princess, but it was my entourage’s reaction that sealed
the deal once we added the veil.
Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
Yes, I purchased a gorgeous sparkling veil from Fross too as it complimented the dress
perfectly.
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.
We went for a summery and bright vibe with lots of florals and greenery.
Choosing our ceremony and reception venues came easy to us as we had a lot of
connection already to both.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
Walking down the isle and seeing my husband’s reaction, I wish I could bottle that
feeling up into a perfume and wear it every day.
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Soak up every moment because its true when they say the day flies by so quickly!
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately
after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
We are going to enjoy our honeymoon abroad next year (so that we could soak in the
wedding itself and have something to look forward to)
Would you mind sharing details of any other suppliers you used? Ideally by their Instagram
handle but if not, just a business name will do!
