How did your partner propose?
He didn’t as such he just mentioned that one day we might get married and I booked a venue (ha!)
What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?
Make sure you eat food on the day!
How did you go about finding your wedding dress?
As I only had a short time between deciding to get married and the wedding I assumed I only had ‘preloved’ or off the rack as an option so I original bought one from stillwhite but realised it just wasn’t what I wanted so contacted a few Bridal shops to have a look at my options, assuming I’d have to beg to get one off the rack and have it altered but Fross was great and managed to get me a new one ordered from AUS!

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?
Probably around 10 I’d say
Do you know the name of your dress designer?
Stella York
What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?
It wasn’t actually like anything I thought I’d go for, it was fitted with lace and no sleeves but I just loved the way it fit and it had just the right amount of sparkle and detail. I had sleeves added to finish it off.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?
No.
Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.
It was the most chilled day ever. 20 guests, bbq and no evening do. Just the good bits of a wedding.
What was your favourite moment from the day itself?
Probably just when we sat down to eat as husband and wife
Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?
Go small – its just about you, not what your family or friends want the day to be
Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?
No as we have a 6 month old baby so its delayed for a bit!
