How did your partner propose?

Tom and I met at Junior school when we were 8 years old, the day he proposed in May 2019 he tricked me into looking round our old school and then proposed where we used to line up outside.

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

To take your time on the day and take in every moment! Also to try and make sure you get some time just with you and your partner!

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I had a rough idea of what sort of dress I imagined myself wearing so did a bit of googling of shops around Eastbourne that stocked similar styles to what I liked. I booked a couple of appointments and luckily found my dream dress quite quickly!

 

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

I think I probably tried on about 15 dresses in total.

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

The designer was called San Patrick and the dress was called Gucci.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

I felt so comfortable wearing it and I fell in love with the beautiful lace details and the long train.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Yes I also wore a veil but that was the only other accessory.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

Yes, we were lucky enough to go straight away after the wedding. As we postponed a year it gave us some extra time to save and spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica! One week exploring the rainforest and wildlife watching and one week relaxing on a beach!
