How did your partner propose?

By giving me an engagement ring for Christmas.

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

To just enjoy the day and not worry about anything other than my husband and myself.

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

Searched on Pinterest for ideas.

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

No.

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

It was flattering and had a beautiful trail but not too flashy.

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Just hair accessories.

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

We got married outside by a lake and beautiful surroundings. We went for a rustic vibe. We just wanted everyone to share our special day and to enjoy themselves.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

Seeing my husbands face when I walked down the aisle.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Just enjoy every moment.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We are going to costa Rica early next year
